To all the dads out there…

Thank you!

You don’t hear those words enough.

You are faithful. You have prayed for us before we were even born and continue to do so. Thank you!

You are a hard worker. You provided for us no matter the cost to yourself. Thank you!

You are nurturing. You enrich our soil of identity and character so we grow strong roots. Thank you!

You are loving. Your discipling of us shows the greatest display of love from a father. Thank you!

You are supportive. Your affirmation and validation of us means the world. Thank you!

You are strong. You discipline us when we are out-of-line so we don’t create a trajectory of hard living. Thank you!

You are our security. You have always been our safe place to land. Thank you!

You are our model. As we age, we hope to see more of you in us.

The older I get the more I can see

How much he loved my mother and my brother and me
