Every 4th of July we surround ourselves with family, friends, fun, food, and of course fireworks.
All of which are great! But like so many before me, I can get so wrapped up in the “free” holiday from work that I can forget the price people have paid for me to experience freedom.
So this 4th of July, let’s take time to remember all of those who came before us to ensure that we are “free indeed.”
Freedom from Tyranny
We thank you soldiers for fighting for our freedom from tyranny.
Freedom from Chaos
We thank you forefathers for fighting for our freedom from chaos as a new country.

We thank you social activists for fighting for our freedom from prejudice.

We thank you Jesus for giving your life so we might know the ultimate freedom from sin.
